Caregiver concernsAm I obligated to keep the person signed up as my caregiver for any length of time? I wasn't impressed with the dispensaries' medicine and the location is not very convenient for me. How would I go about changing my caregiver? I don't feel like the clinic I went to explained the whole "caregiver" thing clearly at all. Adamkadmon Reviewed by Adamkadmon on . Caregiver concernsI would notify the dispensary out of courtesy.

Anytime you change caregivers, you should notify the one you have now. That way he/she knows you are moving on and they can deal with the plant count as needed to stay within the law.

NOT telling your current caregiver that you plan to switch could leave them hanging in the breeze if the authorities show up and they are over on the plant count. Best to tell the grower so they can dispose of plants if necessary to stay within the limits.

Caregiver concernsThanks guys, I'll be sure to let them know if I switch, it would be pretty low not to give 'em a heads up.

Caregiver concernsSome places make you sign an agreement. I know awhile go that at DenCO they made you sign a three year agreement (!!!!) that's just ridiculous. If they didn't make you sign anything then you're free to ago. I agree with everyone else saying you should at least let them know

Caregiver concernsYes, it's part of the "sponsorship" program over at CannaMed. I'm NO lawyer but I've been told by one that they won't stand up in court... :detective1: [align=right]\"I have taught myself to sew, cook, fix plumbing.
I can even pat myself on the back when necessary
So I don\'t have to ask anyone for anything.
There\'s nothing I need from anyone
 Except for love and respect.
Anyone who can\'t give me those two things
Has no place in my life.\"

Caregiver concernsOne side note, you must get the caregiver form a notary stamp to be accepted by the state or any dispensary. Or get into a dispensary that is. FYI, I know because of experience. And you can change caregivers as much as you need. Cannamed makes you waive your right to grow for a year...unless you pay the bigger bucks to designate your own caregiver. You gotta pay to play!

Caregiver concernsI had a change of caregiver form bounce back because I abbreviated my county name. FYI, fill the form out perfectly in blue ink with no corrections.
