Light damaged buds

I have an AK48 plant that got a little too close to the light. (I have since moved it to a larger location).

Anyway the top buds that got close to the light are clearly damaged (stubby dried out looking pistils), and the leaves immediately surrounding it show burn damage.

All the other buds are big and beautiful and doing great.

Should I leave the damaged material in place (where it is sucking up/blocking valuble lumens) or cut it away so the buds below can absorb the light. I realize this will cause a shock to the plant.

I'm 3 weeks into flowering, Using an ebb and flow system and 600 watt HPS.

String works wonders with plants. You could try tying the bud in a way that exposes the lower parts of the plant and gets that already damaged part further away from the light. You'll still see development with that cola so i personally wouldn't cut it off but to each his own

move it away from the heat! it should be fine just keep it cool and it should recover over ther remaning weeks. It might look a little retarted in the end but hey,...... it will still get ya high.

Nip the tip, it will top the plant and encourage lower branch production.

3 weeks into flower will not encourage anything but more stress. Leave it alone.

It is stressed and cutting on it in flower will just stress it more.
What do you think ?

If in veg, top the hell out of it but not in flower.

Tieing it back sounds much better.
