Lab Corp/Home Test Line Speed/Half Life Question.
Ok have a couple questions rolled into one here. I've done some searching and didn't come up with exactly the info I was looking for so if i missed it my apologies.
Anyway got a Labcorp pre-employment UA coming up in a few days. I've had tests in the past from quest that actually show a number you can lookup that specifies the test NIT something maybe? This one here doesn't have anything to that effect all it says is '5 Panel' for tests requested.
So should I assume that this is 50ng/ml for thc? Which is the only thing i care about.
I've bought a number of First Check home tests different batches and stores. I was relatively clean prior to the 28th of Jan where I shared one blunt probably average quality. Before that I think I was clean since Jan 14 can't remember for sure. Whereas before that maybe smoked 3 times a week. So essentially will be clean for 38 days since the 14th and 24 days from the shared blunt.
All home tests taken with first void beginning stream.
Passed home tests on Feb 10,11,14,16,17
Sorry about the background just thought more info would be better that less info, so on to the questions.
Does the speed at which a negative line develops have any indication about levels? Because in the more recent tests I've seen a fairly solid NEG line(see pic) develop within the first minute, as opposed to five.
Secondly I've read that the half-life of thc metabolites is 3-10 days. As such if i passed my first two tests 10 and 11 days before the real deal is it true that I'm at least at or below 25 ng/ml?
And for the sake of tradition the obligatory, 'Will I pass?'
Also I have two tests left should I bother using them or just return?
Thanks so much the forums here are really a great source of info and stress relief. Cheers from sunny Florida.marcopolo1 Reviewed by marcopolo1 on . Lab Corp/Home Test Line Speed/Half Life Question. Lab Corp/Home Test Line Speed/Half Life Question.
What makes you think youre taking a 25ng/ml U/A?
As with any assay, home THC tests are "pass/fail" and have no ability to quantify THCA levels. As long as both the Control and Test regions show a line, its a negative. A faint line is still a line.To view the Board Rules: http://boards.cannabis.com/introduce...ard-rules.html

Lab Corp/Home Test Line Speed/Half Life Question.
Thanks for the prompt reply.
The reason I listed 25ng/ml in my post was based on the fact that the home test cut offs are 50ng/ml. And if the maximum possible half-life for thc metabolite elimination is 10 days, then in my mind it would follow that you would be at 25ng/ml or less 10days after the first home test you pass.
So while I may not have been clear in my original post I don't suspect that I would be taking a 20ng/ml test but that is why my other question in the original post was about the LabCorp CoC form that didn't have the test specified or a number of any sort other than just '5 panel'.

Lab Corp/Home Test Line Speed/Half Life Question.
From looking at other thread titles/ view counts/ replies, one could get the idea that the best strategy to get answers is to liberally use caps lock toss URGENT into your thread title, constantly refer to yourself in the third person(lol), then ask will I pass questions in one giant wall of text without having used any home tests or read anything else here.
Anyway just a little sardonic observation as I've been reading some other threads that seem to garner lots of attention.
As of this point I still have 3 of my original questions unanswered which don't seem to be overly generic or well answered that I've been able to find elsewhere.
The vague nature of the '5 Panel' test request with no other info on the LabCorp COC form.
The line formation speed.
The half-life resulting in Metablolites <= 25ng/ml 10 days after first pass.
Anyway sorry to vent, and Burnt thanks for the original reply, its just kinda irritating when you see threads like

explode with activity. I suppose I understand the need to squash down false information promptly lest it hurt others, but still a bit annoying, almost seems that completely useless posts ought to be mod deleted with a PM redirecting to stickies etc.
Thanks anyway will post results when known.
