What I did was get a timer from Lowe's and plugged all my lights and fan into the timer so that everything turns on and off at the same time. I also let the fan lightly blow on the plants just a bit to make the stalks strong.
I also use a digital thermometer/barometer to keep an eye on the temps and humidity.

Best thing to do is read, read, read. Investigate and research because growing indoors is an art and a science. Your first grow should always be looked upon as a practice run. Learn from it and apply your newly gained knowledge to future grows.
RAINHAZE Reviewed by RAINHAZE on . First time growing, a lot of questions... Hey there, so the time has come to grow my first plant.. first of all, about the box: 1. should i better use transparent material or should plywood be ok? 2. how many holes do i need for ventilation? should i use a computer ventilator? 3. should i use a fan to make it warmer in there? i will use classic wolfram light, i think it generates a lot of heat..
