Too far from the plants, unless there's a ventilation issue. I keep my 1000 watt HPS at 24 inches. You should be within a foot or so for a 150w, I believe. Use the back of your hand to gauge how close plants should be. If it's too warm for your hand, it's too warm for the plants. Got a fan on 'em and proper ventilation?

11) Method of checking water ph. (ph pen, test strips, aquarium test kit...) hmm... none
12) Method of adjusting water ph. (phosphoric acid, white vinegar, hydrated lime, PH Up...) same as above
You're going to want to get a freshwater aquarium ph test kit, or a ph pen. Worth every penny of the investment.

Quit listening to this joker, as it seems he sees dollar signs when you walk in.
B-1 (and Superthrive-type products) are unnecessary, and is likely stressing out your already stressed plants. I stopped using the stuff a long time ago. Look in my signature for the link to a Myths and Folklore thread. Some interesting and informative reading there.

There are minimum steps a gardener MUST take to bring cannabis to harvest. Knowing your ph, proper nutrients, lighting, potting soils...all stuff you'll need to know, or your plants will will never thrive. Hit the grow logs, and hit 'em hard. There's nothing better than learning from the hard work of others.
