Right now we have the fed printing like crazy. At the same time wealth is being destroyed as house and other asset prices fall. Think of it as a tug of war.

yes but all of the french nationalized plans are failing, look at their education system. France was not founded on the same beliefs as the united states was anyway, european countries all rely on the apathy of their citizens, ours depends on their participation.
