    Operation: Save my Kief

Ok guys, so check it out. First off, I am a dumbass for not having a grinder with a kief catcher. So I have been keeping my green for like... 2 months in the same bag lol.. and its like a lunch lag.. the little zip lock or whatever, standard size. The one you would put chips in or something.. whatever lol.

So anyways, there is so much damn kief in the bag all over the place that I cannot even see something clearly through the other side. It is EXTREMELY caked with kief.

So I would like to somehow salvage it... but its all spread out all over the zip lock bag.... pretty hard to get it out of there, you know? Does anyone have any possible tips for me to try and get it all (or just some even) out of the bag? Thanks for any advice

hmm, dunno? run the herb through a small screen to get out any kief on the herb then slice a side and the bottom open with a razor making it a flat sheet of plastic and then scrape the bag? if i'm overstanding the problem correctly I think this is what I would do?

    My suggestion would be "triage"

On a clean surface, I would cut open the bag so it lays flat. Take a razor and collect as much kief as you can into a main pile. You can probably save 90% of the kief this way. Make sure you use the razorblade on the counter as well, to collect any kief that fell off the bag.

If you wanna get the remaining 5%, take a q-tip, rip most of the cotton off one end, dip in 90% or higher isopropyl alcohol (NEVER USE DENATURED ALCOHOL, VERY HAZARDOUS), and rub the sides of the bag to collect the remaining goodness.

Scrape off the THC soaked cotton, and smoke it. Use as little cotton as possible, obviously.

LOL that idea above sounds like a great way to get a plastic buzz.

Its opaque because it has been folded and scrunched so many times that its just an old bag now. The little amount of keif you would get from it is pointless.

Try it. When the cotton turns green, you'll see it's not pointless. The kid is asking how to maximize what he's got, I was giving an option.

A plastic buzz? Only if you let the alcohol sit on the baggie for awhile would it absorb the plastic. Seriously, don't knock it til you've tried it.
