    A carbon Question

So, Any thoughts on re-using carbon? I have a homemade air filter ( 5 gal bucket with about 60lbs of carbon in it). Would it be alright to re-use the 'used carbon' (already used in the filter) as a water filter? Lets say i rinsed it off really good:stoned:

    A carbon Question

You have to keep in mind that carbon filters work by trapping the odor molecules (and anything else your fan blows through it) against the rough porous surface of the carbon particals.
Running water through used carbon particals would simply wash all that collected junk off bit by bit, just contaminating your water more than it was to start with.
