I am trying to find out what the competition is besides growing. If you keep acting like an immature BIOTCH I am going to start flaming you. If I was a narc I would know the answer to that question.

Here in AZ, it's generally around 300/oz, 40-60 an 1/8th for some chronic, sometimes you get the strain name & sometimes not. Lately there's been stuff like Green Crack, Lemon Skunk, GDP, & The Purps going round for those prices. I honestly don't see why the dispensaries charge so much, they aren't doing the medicinal side of the hobby any good at all!

I understand why the producers have to charge the amount they do as I have ran many scenarios. Basically if you figure 10 a gram on 95 plants with a small average of 1 oz a plant the costs of to produce is about 2K plus or minus per month. Yes you can get more with Scrog and LST I am figuring in occasional crop failure and small yields for safety.

Figure a Sea of Green rotation would get you about 6K plus or minus in revenue if you sold out every month. That leaves approximatley 48K if you work all of it your self no employees or taxes on your wages. Yes people you have to pay employee taxes in a Non-Profit. So lets say 30% before the taxes go up due to all the socialism we are going to have to pay for.

That works out to about 38K in your pocket working all the hours not including delivery costs if necessary. Don't forget the risk as Bedrockbob (if I got you screen name wrong sorry) has been saying. You might make a living but is it worth the risk especially with all the BP in the south corridor.

Then include sales tax when applied it becomes cheaper to go to the street for the consumer. If you don't have the money you can't crap green to buy green.

The only deterrent would be the chance of getting caught during the purchase form a non-state approved facility. Don't know the ramifications for that but ya' gotta do what ya' gotta do when ya' gotta do it.

Not to mention.. Will the rules change when the political winds change back to the Republicans? Like it appears it is happening and will do to there breaking the bank.

I then come back to ask myself....How does it seem to thrive in California? Dispensaries are every where and seem to be doing fine charging 10-15 a gram.

However they also allow there non-profits to buy from caregivers and sell to other dispensaries which allows for more product to cover costs at a cheaper purchase price due to low overhead. Yet the competition is terrible which is a down side of doing it in California.

Still have not decided however it does not look like a good business venture more like a labor of love. Then if I had to tolerate idiots like Chance I would be arrested for turning him into fertilizer for the plants.

I think you are seeing it just like I do. I came to the same conclusions. It is something I would love to do, it is something I feel is needed, but I would be sticking my neck way out for very little return.

That is why I feel the cooperative is the answer to access. Patients growing in groups.

They are trying to licence more producers. I believe they are having organizational problems at DOH. Anyhoo, yes they are controling the growth of the program not only by limiting producers, but limiting the amount of patients by allowing only certain conditions. But that is politics. I bet we see more growers licenced soon, and the number of patients steadiy growing. Just my guess, but I think DOH wants the program to grow as fast as politics will let it.
