CROSSING EASY RYDER W/ DIESEL RYDER....PLZ HELP

You can't clone them perpetually though, as you are still limited by the auto genes as to when they start to flower, the clones flower after the same total veg time from seed as the parent. That would leave you with up to 6 or so clones from each plant since they flower so quickly and the yield would be maybe increased to 150% with an added week or two to the grow time of all but the original: due to the clones needing that time to grow roots.
That being said, yes a SOG would be much easier and quicker to get to your goals, smallgrow1, than running autoflowers from seed but you would need a second box for the mother and clones. I saw a great thread on ICmag called DrBud Takes CFL SOG to the Next Level where he basically sets up to get 1.5-2oz a week with the same amount of lights as you. All he has to do is root some clones in a DIY organic mix he came up with in soda bottles and move them through the flowering box, only using water since the right nutrients are in the soil.
Sorry, don't know much about crossing for desired traits yet, but like Washougal said: you want to grow out a bunch of males and females to get the parent phenotypes that show the best of the traits you want to keep. I suggest growing for the male first and collect the pollen, then after you cut him and clean the area you can go for the mother and have a larger window to pollinate for seeds on your desired plant.
I don't think F2's should be all that unstable, afterall that is part of how you stabilize the strain right? I'd have to look up how to make an IBL, but that might be one of the steps along with backcrossing with the original parents...
Hope this helps a bit :rastasmoke:
