this is good...now they need to make the cards good for 5 years or a simple low cost re-newal fee for those of us on fixed incomes as the Dr. rates are way high if we have to do this every year....this is what is killing us is the high cost of renewal......
It would benefit the state if they had a 2 year renewal, especially since it is taking almost half a year to process. If they extended the renewal that would be less mail for them and maybe they can get caught up.

I for one would pay $175 for a two or three year license. It would cut down on my time., the departments time, and even save a tree or two.

It just makes sense. Some conditions might change, but for most of us the reason we were allowed the recommendation was because of medical conditions that are not about to change. A license of over a year would benefit not only the patients but the department of health would also benefit.
