    What is this?

firs thing in diagnosing any issue you may have starts with checking your Ph of the soil....but i would cal mag or just sprinkle about a teaspoon of epsom salt on the soil before the next watering and be patient....but knowing your soil PH is the important thing... 6.2-6.6

Great thanks for the advice, i am going to get some epsom salts lateron, so a teaspoon should do the trick? If it isnt MG will it harm the plants at all by adding a teaspoon?

no...just don't put too much on....i used it before i started using cal mag

epsom salt is a magnesium sulfate and i beleive it has some iron in it as well and it will help green up your plants if that is what is lacking!

Perfect, thanks very much for the advice, i am due for watering tomorrow so i will prepare this epsom salts for them.

One thing, when watering i add aquasafe which is an aquarium dechlorinator and gets rid of chlorine and heavy metals, you dont think this has anything to do with it? It stated it nutralises heavy metals and also chlorine.

I wouldn't worry about the chlorine...unless, you're getting your water out of a swimming pool...
