    New growth on buds - 8 weeks G13 x

    Hi,
I'm looking for some advice. I have two G13 x. They have been flowering for 8 weeks now. I was ready to harvest when I noticed some new growth on the buds. Am I leaving these plants too long or is it normal to see a growth spurt in the last week or so of flowering? The plants have been flowering for 66 days now and the new bud growth is actually sprouting out of the buds. Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance...

There can be a lot of variation in G13x flower times, depending on the cross and the breeder. Your method of lighting the plant will play a part in flowering times too.
I grew a G13x by Soma that looked very similar to yours, with the long, towering growths shooting out of the earlier buds. Those took over 12 weeks, and they could have gone longer, but I ran out of time.
If you don't have anything to magnify the resin glands, to see the % of clear/milky/amber, then it's guesswork. You could cut off a small bit to try? :stoned:

My first impression is that you have a ways to go, at least another couple weeks, but that's based on my very limited experience, and the limited information at hand.

Hey, how long did your g13 take in the end? What was the final result like? I have a somango on the go now with the same long new growth coming out of the buds. Somango is supposed to flower for 9-10 weeks and I'm on 10 today since flowers appeared with very few Amber trichs.
