i do not like adding more perlite to soil....i get brick of chuncky coco coir and mix it 50/50 with fox farm ocean forest but happy frog is a good medium and based on the size of your pots i would use it straight until you transplant then use perlite or coir to help your drainage!

the chunky coir holds some water yet gives good drainage better than perlite...i noticed problems when i had to use perlite instead of chunky coir once...it affected the my PH so i always keep an extra brick in case the grow shop i get my supplies from is out.
