Today is not a good day. I'm pretty sure Watson turned hermie on me. Bastard. I give you nothing but love for 95 days, and this is how you repay me!!!!!

Hey guys with lots of grows under your belt, I could use your help here. Please help me verify that this is what a hermie looks like, and then tell me what to do. Should I remove the hermie, and let the other two mature for the last week or two, or should I just cut em all down, or what?????

As I understand it,... carefully pull the "naners" off, then comb the rest of the plant carefully, for more,.... and if at all possible (probably not in a ScRog) Isolate the suspect plant.

Well you got few options, Pull off the nenners an watch the plant closely for new nanners to appear. Expect a few seed if you leave it the hermie with the rest of your plant.

Cut the hermie,dry,cur, Enjoy while your other 2 plants finish. This way your other 2 ladies should be safe from seeds hopefully.

Some nanners are sterile but don't rely on that.

Imo I would cut the hermie, No point in having all plants end up seeded as to have 2 mature with 1 cut a little bit early, and you still save the one from seeding.:thumbsup:

I'm not an expert on this...but, I'd say it's too late for any harm, seed pollination. Gotta expect this, with fem seeds...

pick the nanners off...harvest, when trich ready...IMO

My first grow...I harvested one third of the plants 'early'..one third 'prime time'..the last third...'late'...this told me what I liked best ...for the next grow...:thumbsup:...I like a little variety

Thank you guys for all the replies. This really does suck, but I guesss it isn't the end of the world. The options you've laid out are pretty much what I was expecting with the exception of Dutch's idea of doing nothing. Since we're only a week or so from harvest, I could probably just wait it out. I'll decide what to do tonight, but I don't know if I'll have time to do any cutting before this weekend.

think even if they got pollenated with real pollen at this point nothing would get done. I mean, everything is already mature, and it's a week away. Keep em I'd say, don't stress it in the last week.

I signed up because I read your log, and I ordered my seeds from Nirvana, and got a whole setup for a closet coming in soon, I did all my research and am confident in my ability to do this all correctly while noticing possible signs and all the possibilities that could go wrong.

I will start off by saying you are an inspiration to all the growers out there for putting so much time and dedication in to this. It definitely shows and I can almost guarantee it will pay off nonetheless, I noticed though yesterday I believe the post was, you noticed your plant turning hermie... well lesson be told, that can be cause by stress, trimming leaves, etc, which leads me to also believe that those browning spots you were seeing was the plants way of telling you that something isint right, my best guess would be to next time go a little less on the nutrients, and hold off or do a little less trimming in the future, I know there is no concrete way to know but from the signs and reading everything here that you've posted, it seems those may be the likely suspects as to why it is turning hermie. You cared well for those plants, and it definitely shows. I myself also will be growing WW, using a 600W HPS lamp setup, hydrometer to measure humidity and temp, and also a ph soil tester to stay within 6.2-6.7 ph range. As used by the pros will be using FF organic soil mix with some extra perlite.

Your log will be a great deal of help to me, that way I know to go easy on trimming and nutes, and progressively trim and add more nutes in small doses. I would like to say thanks on behalf of everyone on here, I will also be making a log for myself and will post daily as you did. Also using Panda film for the walls ceiling and floor, along with a fan for ventilation.
