Raiz' First Grow Log - 3 White Widow Seeds from Nirvana

Well it's Wednesday, and you know what that means. Picture day!

I'm going to have to miss up to 3 days of the log. I'm leaving town for a Bachelor party.... so Friday, Saturday, and possibly Sunday, don't expect any pics.

Oh also, I had to move the clones into the flowering area because my little 8W T5 light died on me. I don't want the clones to go into veg, so I need to get a new light tomorrow.

Thanks! Posting a picture every day has been pretty difficult. I'm bummed that I won't get to see my girls for the next 3 days as I'll be out of town. Oh well, I'm sure they'll be fine.
Tonight I watered with normal tap water, pHed to 6.7 ish.

I also got some new lighting for my clone area. I'll have to wait till I get back to show it off though...

The lamp is a Sun Blaze, 6 bulb, T5, 4 foot, high-output fixture. Each light 54watt and is rated at 5000 lumens which brings the total to 30,000 lumens and 324 watts when you combine all 6. The bulb color is 6500k (for veg), and 3000k (for flowering). I got it for $183 at my local hydro store. The price was $230 for what looked like the exact same lamp at two other hydro stores. This guy has a bigger inventory and is trying to undercut everyone. If you're near LAX I can give you the name of the store.

So, I'm back from my buddy's bachelor party. Here is the updated daily picture.

Not a lot of change lately. Camara's main bud is getting fatter, and lots of the inner fan leaves that used to be huge are slowing dying.

Today I watered with nutrients. I fear this will be the girls' last meal. From now on they're on a water diet, with possibly a little molasses.... and a slow, painful death.

So sad to have nurtured them for so long, only to watch them wither away.


As for the trichomes, they look amazing. If you look on page 10, I think I have some pretty awesome trich pics. I'll post more in a day or two when I've got time.

It is quite sad to see the ladies burn at the stake(bong w/e!), but once the buzz kicks in you will forget all about it! No really... You WILL forget!

Thanks n00b. It's hard to believe that my first grow is coming to an end. I guess if it has to end, then at least the grow went well.

All three plants are starting to show signs of the leaves dying back. Scarlet has the most amber trichomes... probably about 7%. On the others, it's hard to find a single amber trich. I think I'll wait until harvest time to have a final photo shoot. Camara is still adding weight into her main cola. It's getting fairly fat. There are always a few leaves lying down in the dirt or on the closet floor when I go in there each night. The smell is very strong. I have the closet venting into the attic. The house smells fine unless I turn the heat on, and then the whole house smells like weed instantly.

I'm hoping that the effect is fairly heady and motivating when I finally do get a smoke. I tried some from the dispensary this weekend, and spent a good hour just cleaning the house. It was quite nice!
