This might sound surprising but I think Scarlet, the plant on the right, might give Watson a run for her money. The colas are smaller, but there are a lot of them.



A couple notes...

• I watered yesterday. 1 tablespoon molasses/gallon. 3 gallons used total, and I drained out the runoff (to feed the pepper).
  
• The white hairs are starting to turn orange.
  
• Is it possible that the fan blowing on the leaves could dry them out too much? Could it dry out the trichomes???

I don't believe so. Some older pistils will dry up and new pistils will grow and bulk up them buds nicely.

:jointsmile: Seriously n00b.... have I missed a day yet? You gotta realize I work a full time job, work out, spend time with my girlfriend etc etc. Oh, and this is the west coast. The only couple times I've missed a day is when these damn servers go down. ...and even then, I still post the pictures from the previous day.

There isn't really much to say today though. The girls smell wonderful. They're growing happily. I've still been too lazy to get better lights and ventilation for the clones, and yet they're thriving. Life is good.



I should mention that I squeezed some of the buds yesterday to see how thick they are under all those white hairs. I've read all the horror stories about how fluo's make light buds. To my surprise they felt pretty thick. Since I've got about 4 weeks left for them to fatten up, I think I should have a pretty good yield.
Another note... the white hairs are turning brown at a faster rate. Is that any sign that the buds may be getting closer to maturity?

That is a sign that they are reaching maturity, but it is not an indication of when to harvest.

Do you have a 30x-100x magnifier? When I harvested my trichomes were roughly 5%amber 40% foggy and the rest were clear. So I have a real head high with a little buzz.
