SUPER EZ CLONING
i know everyone has a certain method they may like to use but this is my simple no frill cloning!
the first thing i do is i top the tray of clones i am taking cutting from or i will take cuts from the bottoms of mature plants and have a glass of water to put them in as i trim the fan leaves back. i get everything at my station ready
1.tray of water about 3/4 of an inch deep
2. rapid rooter...i use the mat and cut a strip off
3. knife to cut the mat
4. fresh razor
5. skewer to put hole in plug for the cutting
6. rooting gel
7. clean shotglass for rooting gel
8. cuttings in water ready to be sliced
I cut a strip of rapid rooter and get it wet like a sponge then press most of the excess water out...you just want to make sure they have enough moisture to keep your cutting alive
i stick i skewer in the rapid rooter so the cutting goes in smoothly...i do not use the holes they provide
i put rooting gel into a clean shotglass...do not dip directly into your gel container!
i place my cutting under water and cut at a 45 degree angle and cut the node parrellel the stem...doing this helps pevent air embolism from happening...dip into rooting gel and stick it in the rapid rooterstra8outtaWeed Reviewed by stra8outtaWeed on . SUPER EZ CLONING
i get my soil ready and some 3x3 peat pots to get them going.
i use straight soil ocean forest to plant them
i try to do this very quickly as the leaves are still tender from being under a humidity dome
i usually wait until i have enough to fill a tray so that when i put a dome back over them they don't wilt...over the next few days i remove the dome for periods of time hardening them with as little stress as possible

SUPER EZ CLONING
i put the dome back over them and wait for them to develop some root structure then i will remove the dome when they are strong enough to handle the drier air....simple and easy steps to successful cloning!
