Can I smoke my medical marijuana in my parked car in a shopping center parking lot?
I suppose you could...but I would be VERY VERY careful. It is usually against the law to be under the influence in a motorized vehicle...even if the keys arn't in the ignition. You may be harassed.
If you decide to medicate in your car...I would suggest sitting in the back seat or something...that way you could argue that you had no intentions of driving under the influence.

I know with alcohol if the keys are even in the car you can still be charged. So I guess if the keys were in the gas cap out of the car she might be able to get away with it.

Under 215, you can medicate anywhere smoking is permitted...except private property still has the Right to make their own rules...but you will not be arrested for smoking--
But in your case, you are parked on Private Property, they can demand you move your car, and as soon as you do, BAM!! You are Driving under the Influence--

Let's face it ?? people are no longer free. We are policed and subconsciously programmed to do a whole lot of things that go against our true human nature.
Most people are unaware how bad fizzy drinks and junk food are for health, but because it??s legal people consume without even thinking about the consequences. All the pot smokers I know are conscious people who are politically and socially aware.

Unless your trying to be an activist for the cause, I wouldn't risk it.

I walk down the street smoking all the time. If you have a card you can smoke anywhere you can a cig. Except of course while operating a vehicle.

According to SB 420 disallows marijuana smoking in no smoking zones, within 1,000 feet (300 m) of a school or youth center (except in private residences), on school buses, in a motor vehicle that is being operated, or while operating a boat.
I can't find anything that prohibits you from smoking in your parked car.
I hope this helps.

Just remember that if the keys are in the ignition, running or not, an officer will write you for DUI.
