How much would you smoke?

If you dont mind me asking Cool, how much does that cost you a month? Im looking at about 2 ounces a month minimum until I can produce, and I would kind of like to know what to expect. My theory is that an ounce of a good strong sativa and one of a strong indica would suit me just fine for a month I think.......unless I have access to more of course. I can't deny that I smoke for pleasure from time to time.

I'd be willing to guesstimate roughly $800/month. I'm on the same thought as you in having an ozzie of Sativa and Indica,in smaller portions though, for me. Especially at first since I know I'll have to graduate down from Xanax. Legally obtained good,generic Xanax really is cheap as shit but right now every dollar matters and this economy ain't getting any better any time soon. Hell don't deny smoking for pleasure. Those of us on the real DESERVE it!! Right now I'd welcome state run production facilities simply because it would provide REAL jobs to people,no matter how few. Imagine what that 1/2 billion$ vacation Washington just took could have gone to instead. Here I am trying to legally squeeze an extra 20 bones outta my return while these no good bastards sit by the fire puffing Cubans and sippin Johnnie Blue. I will find out which ones from NM accepted the pay and obviously they sure as shit won't get my vote ever again. "Would you like to contribute $2 dollars to a political party?" I smoke about 2 oz's a month....i grow so I smoke pretty much all my own stuff...but still like to go to the club to get special treats or to try different strains. I probably buy at least a quarter to a half of club weed in a month! :jointsmile:

With a small indoor grow system you can learn to produce everything you smoke. For about $1200 bucks you can buy what you need to grow the legal max in a 4X4 area. It will cost $500 bucks a year to maintain production. You could spend a lot more, and you could spend a lot less, but you can get it done right for this outlay. Even if you can only grow four plants in the summer, you can produce several ounces of bud that are far better than any indoor grown product. If you know how to make hash, which is a fun process and not expensive at all, you can make edibles out of all the scrap.

A small camper trailer makes a fine grow room, a spare bedroom, even just a closet can be used to produce an enormous amount of marijuana. If you are in a place without a bunch of traffic, and your family and social situation allows it, you can grow for cheap.

Well, so far the plan is to grow in a 4x4 box with a 400w hps/mh ballast, and 6 plant bubbler hydroponic system. Im already getting things in order so that as soon as the DOH gives me the green light ( pun intended ) Ill plant my first seeds and get shit rockin. Since Ill be doing things all legal and legit, im gonna put as much time, money and care in as I need. Most of the items have already been bought but im waiting on the DOH of course. The only issue for me that is gonna come up, is where to get product until I have a harvest......$8 -900 a month is tough for an unemployed cripple, lol.

I'm not disabled or unemployed and 800 bills would not be in my budget even then. Growing your own really is the only way to do this. I don't know to what extent you are disabled so I don't know if you'd enjoy it as much as I would. I have a young daughter so I have chosen not to even apply. Friggin stigma!! I have bamboo and various other plants throughout my house but Mary simply wouldn't be just "another" green in the house. Not to mention I support RESPONSIBLE use and just like alcohol I believe teens and children have no business being around it. Anyway the supply thing really pisses me off because say I do go to buy... I have to beat out the one guy w/ a card who is buying multiple ounces for his friends and himself.
