What would be your ideal place to live?

You can be as ridiculous as you want.

I would love to live on a farm type place in the middle of nowhere, somewhere where nobody could ever find me, no strangers, no police no nosey fucking neighbours no nothing. I would be able to live off the land growing crops etc and have lots of animals. The weather would be real nice too so I could have a garden full of ganja. I would have high powered binoculars pointing in every direction so I could keep a lookout incase somebody did find me and next to those binoculars would be high powered sniper rifles. The house itself would be more secure than any building on earth, totally impenetrable with all the latest and most sophisticated security equipment installed. There would be laser guided missiles ready to launch from the roof to blow anything out of the sky (god, this is getting really stupid lol) I would just love to feel completely safe and never feel paranoid ever again. I don't live in an overcrowded area or anything but it's still a residential area with damn neighbours. We get strangers knocking on the door every day trying sell us shit, jahovas witnesses doing their shit, though I hardly ever answer the door to them it's still annoying to hear BANG, BANG, BANG on the door every 5 minutes. We have one of those signs too saying 'no canvassers, no salesman etc but they ignore it and knock anyway. Even when you tell them you're not interested they don't fuck off, they hang on for as long as possible.
Does anyone have any (non-violent) ideas to get these people to stay the fuck away from my house? Would it be a criminal offense to have an intimidating sign on the door aimed towards salesman and jahovas witnesses?
Such as a picture of a salesman with an axe stuck in his/her head or something? Or a sign saying something like- "hostile area, salesman knock at own risk" I even saw some man and woman in a car parked outside the house and the woman was taking pictures of the house with her camera-phone WHAT-THE-FUCK!!! They drove off when she saw me looking at her then I went and stood at the front and they came past again but didn't stop, they wouldn't look at me. I think (hope!) they were just looking at the extension on our house because it's pretty unusual and must want to copy off of it, well that's what I hope they were doing anyway. But still, you don't sit outside somebodies house taking pictures. I was paranoid to begin with but this has drove me nuts, especially with the helicopter hovering above the house a couple of weeks ago. What's happening to me!!?

I like your idea GTC. That would be nice. I think I would like to live in Amsterdam. Once I get there, I would like to have a nice house with a big field in back so I can grow weed. Then I would sell most of it in my coffee shop and keep some it for myself. As for your jehovahs witnesses problem, get some chalk and draw an outline of a human body. Then get some fake blood and drip around so it looks like someone was killed. Then scatter some papers and stuff you got from other salemen, etc. Then they'll think twice about coming back.

I want to move to the middle of the scrub in a massive big house that i build myself out of logs.Maybe 100 acres would do.I need stables and a horse training track so i can breed champion racehorses (8) stables A big dam full of yabbies and a creek so the kids can explore.I need a chopper, 4 more trail bikes , a ute and a good chainsaw, compound bow and a gun for any nasty creatures that wanna attack me like king browns.Cows,chooks,sheep,ferrets and pigs for my farm.My 8 frogs are a must and the lizards can come too.I will grow my own vegies and fruit and live happily ever after.
