It was very good. Four of our elected representatives spoke passionately about MC. Growers were there and Paul C. and his wife spoke. It was very good, but only about 75 folks were in attendance.

We need to group together to expand and grow the MC program. I personally do not believe in blanket legalization. It is not what the majority of New mexicans want for sure. But for any adult person that can claim an honest physical, mental, or spiritual benefit from the herb they should be allowed to use it for medicine. Our MC program is great as it is. The growers are new and getting geared up. There are more producers on the way. Patients will learn to cultivate more and more, and groups of patients will come together to produce for themselves. Acces will improve because we wil get involved and let our representatives know how we feel.

Over the next few years drug policy reform is going to be a huge political issue. So is the border issues. We are at a point in American politics that we can make progress.

Get involved.
