Cannabis in soil needs a wet-dry cycle. If you keep the medium (soil) saturated, the roots will suffocate, rot, and then die.

With soil consistently saturated, spraying is unnecessary and can compound the problems from overwatering.

Would find out your tapwater ph at the very least. Freshwater aquarium test kits work great and are cheap. You'll want ingoing water to be between 6.3 (very lowest) to 6.9ish.

Bottled water isn't necessarily better for your plants and it's ph isn't buffered, usually. A ph test kit, and an aquarium TDS test would help determine that. Could be cheaper in the long run to find out more about your tapwater. Many types are even drinkable.

and yes i have always sprayed and only ever let top of the soil get dry.
