Thanks for the reply Jonesy2010. I ended up going with a 6 inch inline duct fan.

In the closet ceiling I installed this:


The ducting runs up to the fan, and the fan blows at a vent on the roof. Seems to work pretty well so far.

What I really need now is an inlet to this closet:

The panda film is pulled pretty tight right now by the fan.
raizla Reviewed by raizla on . Closet Ventilation - please help me find the right fan My setup is almost complete. I have a 2 deep x 5 wide x 8 high closet. I'd like to install a ventilation fan in the ceiling drywall, but would rather not add a switch into the wall and wire the fan to the house electricity. Is there a fan available that mounts into the ceiling, has an on/off switch directly on it, and comes with a wall plug? That would be ideal. Otherwise I'm going to have to go into the attic and run wires.... :( Rating: 5
