Yup, I'd recommend spraying any plants you bring inside the house with a light pesticide or a mix of soap/garlic/rubbing alchol(use light amounts of these) and water in a spray bottle 24 hours before hand. I had a nasty whitefly problem due to one of my moms plants she brought inside having a bunch of the little bastards and their eggs hiding out. Dont know how they manged to get downstairs, but thank god the only plant they attacked ended up being male. I guess I'm kinda lucky though because I have a bunch of lady bugs who love to chill out in my room though

Have a small case of mites now myself. So being of the scientific mindset I'm experiment. I am going to spray one of my ladies tonight with a mixture of 750ml water, bicarbonate of soda and two garlic cloves. I will post the results in a few days.

I know what some of ye maybe thinking regarding the mixture but :wtf: right

    Good idea!
If, you can isolate her from the gang for the test.

Else the allocins and aromatics in da garlic dissipate rapidly. Da bicarb dries to an avoidable powder residue, and da borg will re-bloom with a vengance from the rest of your plants.
They bide dere time on your dime.

Worst case, the bicarb gets dew washed into the soil and jacks up the PH while adding too much sodium for osmotic health.

That weakens the plant and makes her easy meat fo' da mite.
So, isolation is advised and you'll need some luck as well.

Sure, anyone can be a critic, and pointing at a problem no fix him, yah?

Let me suggest that you put your efforts into the overall health of your harem.
A fat n sassy green gal will not only reject the borg, she will hurt their feelings too.

Dat's usually all it takes, outdoors.
    Indoors?
No screw aroun' wit' 'em indoors.
I vapor dem down to da last egg.
    Scorched earth and no prisoners.

    Jus' my 2 cents TIOLI

    Dat's my cuzzin, Sandy 'Zard.
    He's "special".

Sent him an eyeclops and asked him to count da sand grains for me.
Might take him a while if he keeps his shoe on.
    Old babysitter trick.

    Weeze
