    Trim all fan leaves??

one of those things bro where you'll get ten different people with different points of view and understanding.

Trimming the leaves does allow more light to the plant although you are taking the leaves in which the plant absorbs light and stressing it out aswell.

If you trim one and not another that are fairly the same size and health then you might get a good indication as to how it affects your particular strain

    Hope this helps matey

the fan leaves serve a purpose! when the leaves start to yellow and lose color you can trim them off...they have served there purpose at tht point!

if you are trimming to let light in then you need more space or less plants or do more trimming in veg before flowering...i do not trim a leaf unless it has served its duty! i will chop lower branches to keep the energy of growth going to the top!

You can tuck or tie them down so you get better penetration. The fan leaves have a lot of stored energy that the plant uses, so best to leave them on.

I take it a slight bit more proactively lately, timming the leaves as they get too far from the light just before they become yellow & used up.

If you are budding, then leave them be: you will noticably stunt development on the buds that are growing from that node otherwise.
