And regarding the smoking thing, yes I should get a vape and/or make edibles. My mother smoked with me and I got top scores in school and was sent to a private charter school for gifted kids. I've always worked and have never gotten even a speeding ticket. I turned out okay. Plus it helps me keep my multivitamin down because it helps with morning sickness.

It's so good to see you are taking initiative in the matter. I'm sorry for the way I came across... I just get extremely heated over this issue. Just because there have been perfectly healthy babies born after the mother smoked, as in your situation, it does not make it okay. medical research and understanding has developed so immensely even in just the last 20 years.

Okay, my ranting is over. I hope it's obvious that what I said is in the best interest of your child. I believe you and your fiance will do a great job raising your child. Im especially impressed that you didn't respond with a big "fuck you", though I probably deserve it.

There are a lot of mothers out there who just don't care and would keep on smoking any way. I'm so happy you aren't one of them.

Readin' some of these reminded me of a picture that was taken of my mom when she was preggo with my kid brother in the 60's...She was as big as a house with a smoke in one hand,a drink in the other,and a big shit eatin' grin...She's 74 now and still drinkin' and smokin'...He graduated Phi Beta Kappa in college and went on to get his doctorate in psychology which is what he does for a living now...He also used to compete in body building competitions(the whole shaved body thing,lol)...
