So Rebgirl420 is back from hibernation and she has some great news!
It's so good to see you are taking initiative in the matter. I'm sorry for the way I came across... I just get extremely heated over this issue. Just because there have been perfectly healthy babies born after the mother smoked, as in your situation, it does not make it okay. medical research and understanding has developed so immensely even in just the last 20 years.

There are a lot of mothers out there who just don't care and would keep on smoking any way. I'm so happy you aren't one of them.
Best Wishes! Err.... :vap_smiley: <Thats better.

Yeah, that's what we all need. To loosen out moral standards. Your comment infers that we should not have an opinion if it differs from y'alls. So since we think differently than you...do you believe it's ok for you to call us names and label us something you obviously consider unsavory? Hardly.

But at what point does an unborn baby of a 'free choice' mother "go hermie"? How much stress/or physical abuse is needed to alter brain function, or bone and muscle development? And can the mother live with that guilt for a lifetime? Ever sit there after smoking a joint and have a craving for Oreo's, but your muscles don't want to co-operate? What do dividing genes do when stoned? ...Anyone?
Note: if one doesn't want their life judged, likely they shouldn't lay it out in black and white, (er...pink and white) and invite the discussion online with a bunch of medical cannabis growers.
Speaking as a moralist...I do hope and pray the baby has the opportunity and ability to learn the difference between a mothers' looser moral standards and a mothers' outright selfishness. Oh, that's right...there is no difference. My bad.

Your tits are going to be even bigger with milk in them. I didn't think yours could get any bigger. Good luck with your baby. My parents did the same shit but were a lot younger and still together and I'm a bomb ass kid, just don't be stupid. Now you can eat all you want with an excuse!

I don't think my comments infer anything of the sort, but of course, you are free to make what ever assumptions you chose.

(unlike your child...for him/her...this is life and death) The progressives' only concern is in forcing thier loose morals on a society that is wising-up to their destructive behaviors and attitudes.
Mothering a child is not a game of Russian Roulette, unless you start playing with your child's chips. Were this a game, I wouldn't give a shit. But this is not a Cabbage Patch Kid you are birthing. You can't just hide it in the closet when you and your bo are done playing house. It's a real human being depending on you to protect and properly develop thier brain function, disease resistance, and body parts, and to make the decisions that will keep him healthy and free from deformity or disease. I'm sure you'd get used to taking junior to the hospital every week for chemo, or to get that new arm the insurance company finally agreed-to...but why take this chance?
Any clues what is causing this huge upswing of Autism? No? Neither does anyone else, yet women still dick around during pregnancy. It's amazing. Are these "women's advocates" trying to screw these children up on purpose? Sure appears that way sometimes.
Seriously...take care of your pregnancy.

One of my biggest fears in life is that I turn out to be shooting blanks. That would suck. Just thought I'd share that.
By the way Rusty and sarah, I'm really enjoying your debate guys keep it going. I'm here for moral support if either of you needs it.

This thread is a powder keg about to explode.
Did you know that a common method to disarm electronically controlled bombs is to freeze it with liquid nitrogen in order to disable its batteries then they disarm the bomb?
Rebgirl isn't this your second engagement now?
Did you know the number one cause for BCP failure is not taking them? Just a little FYI not saying anything bad against our little rebgirl.
What do you think about Conan O'Brien and his firing from NBC? :detective1:

Not to rain on this parade, but isn't this the same guy that cheated on you last year? If so, then isn't he an untrustworthy scum?
