i just want to know a good way to make brownies for my freinds mom who doesn't want to smoke weed but wants the high how do i make it. i heard you fry weed in oil and use oil in the brownie recipie...idk just want to know...thanx.

Don't fry the oil.
You can dry the weed first in aoven if its not fairly dry first. Set the oven on the lowest setting it has and dry for about a hal hour.
Put dried weed into a coffee grinder and powder it.
Pour the amount of oil thats required for the recipe, Usually 1/3 cup, into a sauce pane on the stove, add the powdered weed, I use 8 grams of shake per recipe, and set it on a low simmmer for about 15 minutes.
I use canola oil.
Let it cool down for a few minutes and then add the the oil mix to the recipe
Just follow the directions for the rest of the recipe except set the oven temp a little lower than recommended. I usually set mine at about 275.

First, I start with dry cannabis and run it through the blender. This makes the particles smaller and they have more surface area so the THC can get out of the cannabis and into you.

Next, I mix the resulting green flour with oil in my miniature sauce pan (holds 1 1/2 cups)- I usually add some cinnamon and nutmeg to the mix to help change the odor. I heat it very gently and stir it with my (well washed) finger. When it gets too hot for my finger, I remove it from the heat. THC moves from the green flour to the oil as it heats, but THC can also be broken down by too high of a heat. So don't fry it!

I then let it cool down while I make up the brownie or muffin mix (I cook from scratch). Some people prefer to strain the cannabis out and just use the oil, but I'm greedy- I want every molecule of THC, so I just dump the whole thing into my brownie mix.

You should save out a couple of spoonfuls of the dry brownie mix before you add the oil mixture. Use it to get the last bit of the oil out of your pan- just toss it in, rub it around and the remaining oil clumps right up to be easily dumped into your brownie batter. (Like I said, I want all the THC possible!) It's much easier than trying to scrape out the last of the oil with a spoon!

Instead of making a pan full of brownies, I use muffin tins. It makes it easier to make evenly sized portions. My hubby uses edibles for pain control, so a standard sized dose is helpful.

Hemp seed from the health food store is a delicious and very heart-healthy addition to your brownies. :thumbsup: They taste pretty much like the $19 a pound pine nuts and can be used in recipes calling for pine nuts. (Don't even bother trying to grow them out for smoke if you find a rare whole seed- it's industrial fiber hemp- zero THC! )

Edibles may take anywhere between 20 minutes and 3 hours to cut in. Eating a second brownie just before the first cuts in, is a common occurrence and can lead to an unpleasant experience.
