Just so the folks on Page 1 of this thread don't think I am unique in my thinking.........

    Hey there Cool,

With all due respect...please dont take me wrong I am not trying to be contrary...

We all realize that you are not a religious man. I respect you for that. That is your choice. BUT, likening the Christian "God" to Santa Clause, the Easter Bunny, and a "mythical being" is inflammatory. It is more than just an ideology, it is a mission to insult those that do beleive.

When you have a group of patients, some with terminal conditions, you are going to have a certain number that are relying heavily on their faith. Whether that be Buddhist, Christian, Rastafarian or whatever. They all have the right to build their strenght from whatever well they desire to draw from. I consider the well of spirituality to be a deep and cold one whose waters fortify the soul.

So please, for the sake of those who do believe in the Easter Bunny, quit bashing religion.

Thanks my friend! I fully respect you for your beliefs and do not want to offend.

It is not "inflammatory" to freethinkers, only those that have been conditioned to believe in invisible aliens watching them.Sorry if the truth upsets you.

Not everyone are "free thinkers", but everyone is free to think. I am not les than you because I may beleive differently.

Again, please dont keep hammering on the subject. No one likes for their ideologies to be ridiculed. No one is trying to convert you. You are constantly making derrogatory comments about spirituality in general and that is unfair in a group of people who are by nature, spiritual.

That is all that I will say about it, and if you insist on proclaiming your disgust for religion then I suppose that it is something that you feel you need to do.

    Rock on Mr. Cool!

Yeah and Ben Franklin and all Free Masons are satanists. Look don't bash my beliefs. Like Bob said if you must there is a reason for that and you yourself need to work on that or just keep your derogatory thoughts about GOD to yourself. You seem to be the minority here so perhaps you should. I used to share your sentiments but I asked him to enter my life and he has. I hope you are at peace no matter your beliefs. Oh yeah and in case you haven't noticed by now I don't give a rat's ass about offending anyone.

    Every CHANCE Encounter

A mental disorder that makes it difficult to tell
the difference between real and unreal experiences, to think
logically, to have normal emotional responses, and to behave.

I am going to take a CHANCE and say that applies
    Read History
Racism was part of the charge against marijuana

There are many victims of the war on drugs I was one; unfortunately, disproportionately there are more Blacks and Hispanics in jail.

This is big business for the courts, jails, counseling, and police power it is a form of oppression that still rages today.

Yeah the God part made it seem cheesy, like something you hear on the Christian Channel or something with the old nuns.
