Oh man! I heard it was bad there but I never realized....DO they actually sentence people to that or do the judges show a little compassion?

I really have no idea what the penalties are here but they are probably pretty tough too. Simple posession is nothing, and under 8oz is just a misdemeanor, so posession is not bad.

They have some yearly busts around Taos and Madrid, and you hear of the occasional National Forest plot being found, but growing is pretty popular here and people rarely get caught unless they get greedy. Nowdays, as I get older and my crowd is less "social", it is rare to even see bud that was not grown by a friend. I beleive that the only "bought bud" I have had in 20 years was when I was in Vancouver.

But you stop your or are walking by you will notice something quite amazing...Looking into the eyes of one horse will disclose that he is blind. His owner has chosen not to have him put down but has made a good home for him. This alone is amazing. If you stand and listen , you will hear the sound of a bell. Looking around for the source of the sound, you will see that it comes from the smaller horse in the field. Attached to the horse's Rating: 5
