step right up to see irydyum's GHSco.-all orgainic-giant tree extraviganza w/ a twist

Appreciate it man. AMS had a nutsack on it today too. I just can't win with these. I'm going to pull off everything I can as I see it and pray for the best.

Sorry you have your grow invested in GHS as well, hopefully you won't see any of the problems with them I have had.

I would be blaming myself for it too if I hadn't had strains stay stable for me in the past. I know it's not my practice that's causing this, I'm pretty dialed in to what I'm doing. It's just the result of a stupid decision I made when ordering about a year ago, and this is my last run of the femmed beans I have.

Back to basics for me. Going to try my damnedest to get ahold of Jilly Bean and Querkle regular seeds from TGA Subcool. I'll be back with a good mother before I know it.

Till then, I just may have to pay attention when I pack a bowl

Lord knows I can use em Str8. Got this green thumb and whack ass genes. I had my hands on a fantastic cut of Mango when I was in Chicago and that was my bread and butter (avatar pic). Moved and lost hold of the genes, and now I'm back to hermaphs. What a let down.

Another thing I have noticed is there seems to be no stability in phenotype with any of their strains. Each bean I pop turns into something different than the same pack next to it. I'm all for a little diversity, but theirs needs a little more work and a little less marketing. Just one growers humble opinion.

I can't beleive these plants are in such small pots! They look very healthy though. Are you planning on upsizing or just doing the whole grow as is?

They aren't that small, they are 5 gallons. The plants are just huge so the pots look tiny. They will finish fine in these though, no worries.

    Thanks for stoppin:jointsmile:

    Nice grow Irydyum

Sucks to hear about the herms According to Franco himself at GHS, the TW has a 20-30% chance of herm. Some of their strains are more stable, but the more I read about seeds and genetics, the more I want to just get the standard beans from now on. I guess it's kind of hit-or-miss with the fems, cuz 3 of mine have been fine so far, hope I'm not 'due' on this 4th one I have going :wtf:

Looking forward to seeing more

Thanks for the compliments guys, right on time, I needed to hear something good to counteract the invasion happening.

As far as 20 to 30% herms, why the fuck would you release that strain to market? Seems insulting to consumers to just slip that one by. Do you remember where you read about that?

@Cartman, I love growing trees, pushing the envelope of what my lights can do for me is very gratifying.

I don't wanna post the link cuz it's on another message board, but if you google "Trainwreck this is what I got", it's the first link, post #161

well, to be honest with you and everyone else, I am still studying this banana-rama phenomenon on the wreck. At first I related it to temperature at end of flowering, but then I had proof of the contrary. So I did a matrix feeding test, but the results were random as well. Now I am linking it to light stress and temp drops, but I am still studying.
Anyway, from all the feedback we get about the strain, I can safely say that in 20-30 % of cases few bananas will show up. By no means I consider it a problem, just a signature of the plant.
