New Grow - Snow Bud from Dutch Passion

    Hello Everyone,

I am new here, started my first grow as i was fed up with buying weed of my local dealer and having it sprayed with stuff and finding glass and other things in it and also paying a fortune for this stuff and all it was doing was hurting my health. I have decided to start my own grow . I would like some feedback please as to how it is going as i have read soooooooooooooooo many threads and advice online but i guess there is nothing like human feedback.

Well i have a growtent 1m width x 1m depth x 1.5m height lined with mylar. I have a 250 watt Hps dual spectrum bulb along with a humidifier, heater, 2 fans one sending heat out of the box and one circulating, and the external one is linked up to a carbon filter.

I currently have 5 snow bud plant seedlings from dutch passion seed bank and they are currently 1 week old. I planted them in the soil about 10 days ago and they sprouted 7 days ago and have been under the lights for about 1 week.

They are in a nice basic soil mix, 70% cutting and seedling soil, very fine stuff with no high nutes etc, mixed with 25% perlite and 5% sand. They are in baby 750ML pots at the moment but i have 2 and 5 gal pots avil when they get bigger. Also i have Bio Bizz nutes ready both the grow and the bloom stuff and also some stronger medium being a batmix and an all purpose mix but im not sure if im going to use these yet? I havenā??t given them any nutes yet as I wanted to ask you guys first when is best.

The plants look a nice shade of green, they look a little lighter in the photos due to the HPS glare.

The temp in the grow room is 25c and humidity is 50%. All this is controlled by a humidifier and also heaters and fans as otherwise it would be very cold in there and the humidity would be around 10%.The PH of the soil is 6.8 - 7.0 and i water every 2-3 days with fresh de-chlorinated water, and I only water when the tub weight of the buckets feel light again.

I am just looking for some feedback really as to how they are looking and doing so far, please see the photos. Also when should i get some nutes ready?? Do things look ok growth wise for 1 week under the light? Any other advice is more than welcome.

As you can understand being a first grow i am very keep to get everything right for my babies.

Look forward to hearing from you guys and girls...oh and i will keep this post updated with photos throughout to show you how its going. I cant wait till they get a bit bigger and I can eventually not have to rely on all this rubbish weed being sold at the moment and I can smoke my own, and know where it has come from

Thanks for the comments guys. Well the plants are 3 days from the last photos and looking good. I have seen a few roots at the bottom of the pots and was wondering how long till they need repotting? They are in pots 10cm x 10cm x 10cm. I havent fed them anything yet do they look ok?

Also when i repot them, can i put them in to a baxmix or will this shock them? They are currently in a light seedling soil with 25% perlite and 5% sand but when i repot them i want to mix it up a little bit maybe 35% bat mix, 35% seedling soil, and the rest sand and perlite, will this shock them?

    Any advice or comments please...

hi,according to jorge"any product containing trichoderma bacteria or vit b1 will help ease transplant shock",or you could try canna's "rhizotonic",it does the same and more, but i'm sure its not the only 1 on the market!!P.S.ya babies are still looking good!
