I had been promised some Reservoir Seeds Chemdog IBL, but due to problems the project completion was delayed until at least May 2010. I was able to get 10 Pre-IBL stage seeds Chemdog IX-III, four of which are the subject of this grow log. Chemdog has always been a favorite strain of mine. It may not be the world's best potency or taste, or anything like that. I just consider it like comfort food, ya know what I mean.

This grow is not about cutting edge technology or superior techniques but about friends and our relationship with our favorite plant.

Being a backwards farmer in may ways I referred to the Old Farmers Almanac for best germination period. I have no scientific proof that this is any better. They were popped into water on Jan 27 and transferred to 3 1/12" square planters filled 2/3 with pre-treated coco 24 hours later (tap roots 1/2 " long) and placed 24" away from my LED lamp.

Hopefully this grow will be a place to sit and shoot the bull while passing time watching them grow. I'll be glad to receive any questions comments or criticisms, but mainly just trying to have a friendly grow.

Pictures to follow shortly.
