4 led panels
quad or tri band?
I'd go with all 660nm reds, with just enough 465nm blue for clocking /phototropism. (8 reds to 1 blue or so. This is a fairly common UFO scheme, just don't let 'em palm off those old, unwanted 630's on you. :smokinYou can add other wavelenths easily with a CFL or two, and/or other types of inexpensive lighting, if you feel you might be missing something.
More bands is not better. More 660nm IS better.
Just my .02, Hermie
And yes, most pot plants stink. The last strain I grew smelled worse in veg (like a dead body :wtfthan in flower. A carbon filter/fan combo's the only thing that works for me.
You will need odor control. Folks won't need to come downstairs, they'll smell it at your front door. You'll need to take care of this within three weeks or so, unless you've got a real low-odor strain going.
