Just wanted to show off a little of my first grow - just used spring #4, Advanced Nutrients, some molasses. I guess you would call this a cold weather grow, since the temp has never gotten above 70 and temps in the morning have been running 48-54. I had a bit of a spider mite problem but I think that is under control now.... any comments welcome!!

(can you guess what the strain in the second picture is?)

those look nice man...so you grew that outdoors??? im in the middle of my first grow right now so im asking a lot of questions...sorry man. what kind of nutes did you use and what kind do you recommend i use if im going indoors. anybody doesn't matter to me...

Thanks GIjaneBRAD - no not outdoors, I don't think they would last a single day outside in a Colorado winter. The reason I said cold weather grow is that is so hard to keep heat in that tent in the garage - I really don't want to run a heater and lights at the same time so I just run the heat at night but those fuckin space heaters never work like you want them to. Even in the day it doesn't get much over 65 degrees in there. Keeps the bugs down too..

I got a 4X4X6 grow tent off ebay, and 600 hps light. I am using just the plain ol' Advanced Nutrients SensiGrow / Bloom two part and molasses. Medium is spring #4 which is not soil per se and doesn't have nutrients to start with so what nutes you put in are all you get. The stuff is hard to overwater too since it drains so well. This is probably the most basic setup but apparently is it working out OK for a mostly clueless first-timer

Thanks bro - it is a purple kush strain and they do seem to like it cold. I took this picture when I had it out of the tent for a little maintenance - the sun was coming through the window and WHOA LOOK AT THAT, harder to see color when they are under the HPS so I had to get a shot of it right then
