Anyone deal with Yuba County Health Dept?
:rasta:Greetings everyone, has anyone been to the Yuba County health dept. to apply for a card? I would like to know if they hassled you or not. I am about to get my medical recommendation and want to grow my own medicine. I want to be legal in doing it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

the 'card' is NOT a legal requirement, in Kalifornia ... it was only another attempt for a few counties to collect more revenue (taxes) ... it's not even offered up here in Butte County, one of several counties that didn't see enough profit potential in it :wtf: ... waste of money, and I've never seen the sense in volunteering to be on police mailing lists

Thanks for the advice, the only reason I'm considering that is that I read that the cops can arrest you without the county card and then you have to go to court to prove your doctor's rec is valid.
Also, I have seen that some of the dispensaries say that they will not deal with you without a doctors rec and a card. That doesn't really concern me now as I think that there are a lot of fine people out there that don't care if I have a card or not.
I have been smoking for 40+ years and am from the generation who was persecuted by society and am naturally paranoid about the whole matter. I really don't want my name on some list that might find its way into the wrong hands!
