Spiny bulbs, some folks call them CFL (compact fluorescent), come in many sizes measured in watts. A few of them can be seen here, 1000bulbs.com is an excellent store. I would highly recommend them. You'll want 5-10 thousand lumen's per plant of warm light for flower. Cool bulbs for veg. and less lumen's needed for that.

Sorry, I can't really take a guess at your original question. Sounds like you're off to a good start though so keep up the nice work. While your moving along it'll help allot to search all these "sub groups" they have on here. One is just on indoor lighting for example.

You might as well get ready to spend a few bucks on a good HID light. You can grow all the way with flourescents ,but the yield will be pitiful compared to an HID .For reference purposes , grow under flouros once and then under HID and you'll see the difference.

If you were to use say five 40w(NOT equivilent) 2700K CFLs (one on each side and one on top). You might be able to pull something like a 1/2 oz??:wtf:
If you can add actual sun light during lights on that can help too. :thumbsup:A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government.
