The amazing rule was this...Water 1/3 the volume of the pot your using, then once it gets dry you just do it again, im sure once it gets bigger youll be watering it more often but this seems like a pretty legit way to do it, am i right?? That seems like a lot of water to me, especially if you're using CFLs. For reference, I water with about 0.5 - 0.75 gallons and I'm in a 5 gallon container. That is 1/10th the volume of water... not 1/3!

Get the water meter and it'll help you gauge when to water so you aren't just shooting in the dark. It looks to me like you still may have some watering stress! I'm not sure what growth looks like under CFLs though..

Also, it looks to me like you maybe transplanted too soon. I couldn't really judge the size of your original containers in the pictures... but that plant now looks extremely small in that large pot. This might make it a bit more difficult to water correctly since the roots haven't filled the pot and you'll have wet spots. Hopefully, someone else will chime in. I don't think you'll want to fully saturate the pot every watering at this point. I probably stop watering before you get runoff... and then water to runoff maybe every 2nd or 3rd watering until it grows into the pot?

Hope this helps. I'm not extremely experienced but that's what I've seen work.
