Hey Chris,

How long have you been having those awful attacks? Where they brought on by specific events in your life? Right now the only thing you could fight for is PTSD. Anxiety is absolutely related, I've had them before. I have a boatload of Xanax and I totally hear you on the 2 hour thing. I will give it up as soon as I get my card and am able to dose down. That is something else you can consider if you haven't already(betcha have) it's scary to think you might be left with no relief. BE HONEST,I only have so much because I haven't been afraid to let my NP know when I've taken more than written on certain days. They'll try and put you on something else for a week and so on. You need to think about why you are having these attacks,if you can. It took me along time of self medicating and visiting many people before I found someone who helped me put in perspective how I am now. I recommend going to a DOH Nurse Practitioner, a Mental Health Specialist if you can. They don't charge and mine has given me more compassionate care than any I ever paid for. If you do find that you qualify man watch where you step. There are some great folks on here who will help you if you are willing to listen. There are also a lot of people salivating at the thought of making $150 to give you something you totally don't need. Good Luck Friend
chance942 Reviewed by chance942 on . Can i get a card? I suffer from panic attacks and i have had some that required me to have an ekg. The anti axiety medications are really not what i wanna be on the rest of my life. I would rather be relaxed than sedated to barely awake. So would there be any way for me to get a card? i would rather be on something that i can do when i need it than a twice everyday thing. Thanks, Chris Rating: 5
