cfl's work great for sprouting beans.
STart with 2 seeds, get them big enough to take some clones and after a couple weeks flower the clones and throw away the males. Then you know which plant is the female and get the clones off it. Save as many seeds as possible for backup.
5 gallon bucket is fine. I like to top mine and tie them over to get as many cola's as possible off of 1 plant. Drill 1/8 inch holes around the top of the buckets and tie them off.
