Even w/o heat issues, is there such a thing as too much light?
Too much light and too much bud go hand in hand. If you for some weird reason want less bud, go with less light.
jakester Reviewed by jakester on . Even w/o heat issues, is there such a thing as too much light? I just got the smallest growlab chamber as a replacement for my DIY CFL rubbermaid growbox. Also got a 150 W HPS and damn is that thing an improvement. I also have 2 42 W 6400K CFL's hanging to give it a little blue light as I heard a mix is best. So that 16000 lumens from the HPS, 2600 Lumens from each CFL, that's over 20,000 lumens in a 1.5x1.5 foot area with just one plant. It's not hot in there or anything so heat isn't an issue but can there ever be just too much light for a plant? I Rating: 5
