Speaker Pelosi used Air Force aircraft to travel back to her district at an average cost of $28,210.51 per flight. The average cost of an international CODEL is $228,563.33. Of the 103 Pelosi-led congressional delegations (CODEL), 31 trips included members of the House Speakerâ??s family.

Kosher alcohol for mixing beverages in the Delegation room was purchased on the local economy i.e. Bourbon, Whiskey, Scotch, Vodka, Gin, Triple Sec, Tequila, etc.â?�

I read that article with skepticism, for a few reasons, but first.. These figures don't even make me blink, but shit like one page of a Bill costing millions and millions of dollars to create, that shit is crazy, how do they put that price tag on shit, is the paper made from the wood of the cross the crucified jesus, i don't get it. anyways, none of this shit really concerns me very much, none the less I pay attention to the world lest I become ignorant of my surroundings. so anyways.. I think alot of the fuss is that her son was the one using the military flights.....about 6 times....for jack shit. Pelosi is gonna cost the Democrats the House and Senate....Ill bet money on that. but, if she starts getting some extended Family in on the deal and taking more trips, she might be able to best her predecessor's 100s of round flights between dc and Illinois, not to mention his congressional delegation flights, it may help to deter the appearance that the media and American public isn't just trying to hard to point fingers lol. I see where your coming from, however, it was less than a year ago we were listening to these people yell from the rooftops that we were in a great depression and a financial tsunami? Maybe it's just me, but in financial hard times in my life, I STOP spending and start saving. I doubt any college educated people believe the DEMS say they want a spending freeze and the next day blabber about SPENDING our way out of a recession. Also, the American public is not listening to the Democrats blame bush choir anymore....it's over. Everything going in Feb. 2010 is a direct result of Obamanomics or lack thereof.
