I am on protonix and I have been told that it will test positive for marijuana. Is this true? Also, if they send it off for a GAS test will it tell that it was marijuana?

There was a short time where protonix was causing false positives on the EMIT but the tests are always retooled to quickly fix it. So no, you won't be able to say it was the protonix that caused a positive result. Using this site's search feature using the words: protonix false positive, will show you many instances where this has been discussed in the past.

I have been on protonix since 2001 and every test I have taken always shows up positive for thc. Go figure.
