Vegging to 6 Feet?

My friend vegged a white russian to roughly 5-6 feet and it hardly grew at all in flower. Think he got 4oz off it.

Probably very indica dominant.

Have nine foot ceilings I read somewhere that someone said a 5ft plant isn't going to grow 5 more feet during flowering.
