Checked it today and its seemed to have gone a little bit brown around the edges. Did i do it wrong ? I used clean scissors when i made the cut.

Will upload a pic later but would appreciate the reasurance that this is normal !

I think you're ok, the plant will seal up the wound and nothing's gonna grow out of it. It'll be the shoots from the lower nodes that should start to become the 'tops'.

Looks good to me! I've seen the sap all sorts of colors, it's just sealing itself up.

Looks great Char:thumbsup:, i think you will like your plant after it starts growing out. I fimmed last year, but thinking i was topping it. My mistake turned out to be this:hippy:

This was my fimmed plant last year and in the second pic is where i fimmed it, you can see it healed well. Yours will do the same and hopefully you will get more top's then i got, which was seven:jointsmile:

Lets see ya, nice to know your still tuned in, those buds lookin mighty fine . Ye im hoping for 8 tops, the fim seems to be recovering and it looks like its growing again. I plan to flower soon and the new tops havent fully developed, would this be a mistake to start flowering now ? would the buds be really small or should I give it another week to establish the tops then flower ?

Hey man:hippy: If i were you i would give er a week to heal up a bit, but it really didnt take long for new growth to happen. In your pic's it looks like new growth has started already, so i wouldnt think it would be long before ya can flower it. When ya got time post a few pic's. I really liked the Fim last year and i think you will too, plus you get more colas:thumbsup:

Its that time !.. well time for a mega post as i have been very busy today.. I flushed ready for flowering, and then discovered the holes in my container werent big enough, thus meaning there was about 25 litres of water sitting around my plant... to let the water out i had to take the whole plant out and discovered a huge root system which wasnt what i was expecting for one plant.

The i popped her back into her original container plus bigger holes. Also swapped my bulbs for flowering ! woop woop.

Had a couple problems with my gyal as well though. some leaves are starting to go slightly yellowy/green. Obviously nitrogen deficiency but i havent fed it to her for about a week so i wouldnt have thought it would have gone yellow in that amount of time.. also the leaves are a bit wilted..over watering ?

I also discovered some brown spots, not sure if this is nitrogen burn or the damage from the pesky house flies which hover around her. Heres a pick of one of the pesky fukers.

Also the fim had worked out fine and i can already see 2 new tops but these could grow into more, bit too early to tell !
