Whats up with the VK's Char? Ive got 4 in week 5 of flower and looking for some reference.

Whats up with the VK's Char? Ive got 4 in week 5 of flower and looking for some reference.

Lookin good there Char! tr1ple, you can reference my grow as well if you like - my VK are just at the end of their 3rd week of flowering. I did an early LST on them but removed the tie-downs after about 6 weeks of veg. They went 7 weeks in veg before going into flower... I've found that holding them down for most the veg cycle is enough to promote about 3-4 large tops as well as lower bud sites as long as I can keep the light low enough...that is without doing a SCROG...I think it would be a lot harder to water them with a screen in the way...? lol...

trust me man i would love to have an hps but i just dont have a place to vent air and heat. If i did i would have so many piff strains! Did you grow in a cupboard or did you have a tent ?

:thumbsup:hi mr green,my grow went out to the shed 2feb,so my electric included a heater(for lights out).so fans,lights & heater was about £20 a wk(nothing compared to what i'd be spendin on herb)should be less this time round though:jointsmile::jointsmile:

Sure post me up. I have a couple of problems atm which i think has stunted her. Mainly yellowing leaves even though im giving her nitrogen, same problem possibly ?

go buy some powdered spirulina and mix it in with the water you feed her, should perk her back up

Ya, thanks Dayzt1. I would like to see a link to yours. I'll get a couple pics to share here too. 3 weeks left I think. Bud everywhere and finally starting to fatten up. I'm relatively noob and especially to hydro. Just a word to the wise
for any other new growers... a 2x2x5 grow tent is too small for 4 mature plants if you have any real side branching. Oops...lol. Maybe a little autoflower type next time.

Hey Char im not sure but ya think it could be root bound? Your pots look huge in the pic's. Are you in flower yet, i went back and read your thread but must have missed it. But ya know how the leaves get yellow after the plants pretty much used what they need out of em and they die off. Could this be, or too much N will make em yellow too. I know that adding N to close to flower will make your buds taste really bad, my outdoor did, cuz i was just giving so much nutes at the end. Then, 2 of them either blew over or a rabbit got stoned, so i harvest with out stopping nutes and give plain water for a couple weeks as planned. So it locked ya in the couch, but tasted like drinking hard core cheap nutes. Yeah, like the better nutes taste better, lol:wtf:
