Here comes the problem , since Roor appartatus are unique from one another I bought a 18.8mm generic difusor ( stupid of me) and it got stuck during insertion, I've hear countless methods on the forum on ways to remove stuck downstems but none seems to work and breaking my piece is clearly out of the question. I've had the same problem: I just put finely ground ice in the downstem, and ran hot water over the part where the downstem was stuck. The ice should cause the downstem to contract at a microscopic level, and the heat should cause the stuck area to expand... then combination should help you pull it out.
