    2 Questions from a newbie

Hello everyone, i wanted to ask 2 questions, 1. does it matter if you have low wattage on a cfl as long as you are in the right spectrum? 2. how am i supposed to cycle the light, how many hours on and off? i know this has been answered already, i have seen it in some posts but for some reason i cant find the posts (maybe im a dunce or something..hope not hahaha).

I am sure it must be annoying to see questions like these over and over again, but any help would be really appreciated.

Spectrum effects which chlorophyll you stimulate like Blue light stimulates Chlorophyll A, which helps the plant develop more leaves and stems. Where as Red light stimulates Chlorophyll B, which helps build flowers.

Intensity is needed! If you were to attempt to grow under say a single 23w CFL. You'd end up with a plant reaching for more light. This would land you a two leaf, 3 foot plant with no nodes. MANY CFLs can help a lot.

You can do 18on/6 off or 24/7 on for Vegetation(growing) and 12/12 to flower.

I'm in the middle of a trial grow just to get some hands on experience. I popped the seeds under little more then a single CFL. However I've been adding extras ever since. Many people use CFLs. Just go to basic growing and look in the grow log area. You can see many CFL grows and if you look hard enough you can find examples of people who tried to grow under a single bulb.

Here's a link to a couple CFl grows including my trial grow:

In case you're wondering how to do this, you need to get a light timer, available at almost any hardware store or nursery.

I use Earth Juice brand - grow and bloom with my Ocean Forest. They are effective organic fertilizers for less. Just make sure you get a bottle of pH up, they are very acidic.

I hear a lot of recommendations about Fox Farm brand ferts. I have never used them but their schedule looks simple to follow. I picked EJ over FF solely because of the price (30% or so less).

i've never grown with ocean forrest either, i read on the forums that it was really good so i thought i'd give it a try, i'll give earth juice a shot, this is the first time growing organic, I still have seeds from when i grew northern lights and bubblegum, i am going to grow them organically to see the results.
Does anyone recommend a MJ strain that will inspire creativity? I am currently working on my degree for video game design and sometimes find myself unable to come up with something because i get migraines often, so if anyone can recommend a strain that inspires creativity i would appreciate it.
