(aquanauts) First bagseed grow!Question: So during veg while in 1L pots I used to water with nutes everyday.

Now that I'm in 3g pots and in flowering I've been watering with nutes everyday.

Should I water everyday and nute every other? I thought when using Coco I was supposed to water with nutes everyday but starting to think not.

(aquanauts) First bagseed grow!I'd be interested to know what's happened to change your mind? Personally, I work coco as a hydroponic medium, ie) I provide consistent strength, nutrient solution at regular intervals and maintain a consistent level of moisture in the medium.

You can, if you wish, pretend that coco is soil and treat it more like a soil grow... it will still grow you some weed, but it wont yield nearly as much as it would under consistently applied hydroponic practices.

(aquanauts) First bagseed grow!@sarah - I think my water is too hard where I live and just nuting everyday is causing some salt buildup issues. I think I will follow PhatJay's feeding schedule and do 2 days nutes and 1 day just tap water. Maybe my next grow I'll use pure RO filtered water and supp. my own minerals.

 Day 31 / 7 - AM - Flower

 - Watered all the plants today, no nutes just water.
- Think I've confirmed the crazy growing plant on the left is a male, anyone else confirm? I didn't know males can stink this bad!

 (aquanauts) First bagseed grow!Day 35 / 11 - Flower

 - Installed new carbon filter- can't smell a thing
- Started to test my pH and it 6.5+, so the last few days I've been pH adjusting down to 5.8~.
- Removed the crazy growing male.
- Still no signs of female sex yet

(aquanauts) First bagseed grow!Good looing grow Aq~do you notice how short the stems on the fan leaves are on the 2 stockier plants and how long they are the 2 in the tray with your unknown house plant

my bet is the 2 stockier plants are girls and the other 2 are males...just my guess..take a few cuts from the bottom of each if you can to clone:jointsmile:

(aquanauts) First bagseed grow! Thanks stra8outtaWeed! I also started to notice this as you call it out. So do females normally get bushy while the males stretch out more? Originally Posted by stra8outtaWeed Originally Posted by stra8outtaWeed

(aquanauts) First bagseed grow!females take a bit longer to show and males will reach out like those 2 for sun to grow faster so they can pollinate the shorter females! Originally Posted by aquanaut Originally Posted by aquanaut

check this picture out....my buddy is growing these to put outside when it is time but he is vegging them with only 25watt of LED's

he is using 2 screw base LED bulbs in a 2' x 3' space in his closet...a cheap grow area if you can set it up because no heat or venting is needed only a small fan to circulate some air!
