    (aquanauts) First bagseed grow!

    Wow do the temps really sore with a 400w HPS. After just an hour the temps near the top (above the cool tube) was around 83F+ and in the middle about 78.

    I had to re-adjust some fans and vent piping but I think I can manage 78F within the grow area.

    Code:
    # author: aquanaut

    class pyCanna:
    	COCO_1L_BASE = 	[1.8, 2.5, 3.0, 2.5, 2.5, 0.0]
    	RHIZO_1L_BASE = [4.0, 2.0, 0.5, 0.5, 0.5, 0.0]
    	ZYM_1L_BASE = 	[0.0, 2.5, 2.5, 2.5, 2.5, 2.5]
    	PK_1L_BASE = 	[0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 1.5, 0.0, 0.0]
    	BOOST_1L_BASE = [0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 1.5, 0.0, 0.0]
    	EC_BASE =       [1.3, 1.7, 1.9, 2.0, 1.7, 0.4]
    The red values for boost are incorrect.

    For anyone interested and using Canna Coco products. I wrote up a Python (programming/scripting language) app to calculate corrected nutrient volumes.
    The script is a nifty idea, but be aware, it assumes fixed values for water hardness, feed strength and product line. So it's a bit limited in what it can actually calculate... you'll need to rewrite it each time you vary an assumed, fixed factor.

    Probably easier just to work in whole litres.

    Yea probably easier to just go off of liters =], thanks for the eagle eye correction though! :thumbsup:

    Day 26 / 2 - AM - Flowering

    1. Watered this morning with max strength (as per nute guide).
    2. About 80F at the ceiling in my closet and mid 70's around the plants.

    Question: Will the few 23w CFL's I have hanging around under the HPS to give 6700k light... actually work? My original idea behind this was to supp. blue light to stop stretching during flowering.

    I see you went with a nice short veg period, good choice :thumbsup:. In my noobness I vegged for 39 days. I definitely won't be vegging for longer than 28 days next time.

    Mixing lights during flowering is a good idea. I don't know if it stops stretching, but it helps with increasing the size of your crop. I plan to add one 125 watt blue (6400k) cfl to my lighting setup for my next flower (currently flowering with 2 x 125watt red 2700k cfl's).

    I can't figure out what's going on now.

    • Leaves curling down.
    • Leaf edges are brittle? and tight
    • Yellowing and tiny brown spots.

    Day 28 /4 - AM - Flower

    • Watered this morning with nutes.
    • Next few days will see if my flush fixed anything.
    • Took some upclose pix but think it's still maybe a week too young to detect sex?

    Ahh crap =[ those were pix from my 2 biggest ones. Hope they aren't males or I'll have to try and throw my 3 smaller ones back into veg...

    I think next time I'm going to just order feminized seeds as my grow room cannot accommodate too many plants
